POSTMILLENNIALISM –– the eschatological view that Christ will return "after the millennium"; Christ has established His Messianic kingdom on earth, it is growing in numbers, area, and influence by means of thepreaching of the gospel and Christian nurture, and it will have visible, worldwide, and blessed success before Christ returns at the general resurrection for final judgment
MARK - The Gospel of Mark, the shortest, is also held by most to be the first of the Gospels to be written. A tradition dating from the 2nd century ascribes this book to John Mark, a companion of Peter and also of Paul and Barnabas in their missionary endeavors. Thepreaching of Peter may well have been the source of most of Mark’s material. Mark accounts for the ministry of Jesus from His Baptism to His Ascension. Most commentaries agree that Mark’s purpose was neither biographical nor historical, but theological: to present Jesus as the Christ, the mighty worker rather than great teacher. Hence, Mark makes fewer references to the Parables and discourses, but meticulously records each of Jesus’ "mighty works" as evidence of His divine power. Mark contains 20 specific miracles and alludes to others. Bible scholars quite generally agree that Mark wrote his Gospel in Rome for the gentiles.

index:GOOGLESURVEYQUOTES GoogleSurveyEnvy Envy is found many times in the Bible and has been used for everything from coveting a relationship, material wealth, evenpreaching the gospel.
index:GOOGLESURVEYQUOTES GoogleSurveyEnvy Paul does not say why, but mentions those who arepreaching from envy are wanting to keep him in bondage.
index:GOOGLESURVEYQUOTES GoogleSurveyFoolishness This way ofpreaching is very impolite and unfashionable, and therefore despised; it is a doctrine which is not received by the wise and learned, but has been in all ages loaded with reproach, stigmatized either as a novel or licentious doctrine, and attended with persecution; though the only doctrine God owns for conversion, which administers comfort to distressed souls, and is food for the faith of believers; yea, it is a display of the highest wisdom; is what angels approve of, and desire to look into; is wiser than the wisdom of men; it has made foolish the wisdom of this world, and is what is only able to make a man wise unto salvation; and yet this doctrine is accounted foolish, yea foolishness itself; but to whom is it so?
index:GOOGLESURVEYQUOTES GoogleSurveyForgiveness (6) The publishing of the forgiveness of sins by faith in Christ, and the setting forth and proclaiming the wrath of God in retaining the sins of the unbelievers, is the sum of thepreaching of the gospel.
index:GOOGLESURVEYQUOTES GoogleSurveySexuality Whole cultures that employed these entheogenic plant-drugs for shamanistic ecstasy, or practiced ritual sexuality, have been decimated by Biblepreaching Christian missionaries, who did away with what they considered the primitive and evil practices of the heathens.
index:GOOGLESURVEYQUOTES GoogleSurveySlothfulness Also many do not realise the extent of their slothfulness because there is littlepreaching against it, and because this sin is so common even among spiritual role-models.
