From index@THEOLOGYGLOSSARY.txt@ ESCHATOLOGY –– the doctrine of the "last things" pertaining to the individual (death, afterlife) or to redemption (the coming, course, and consummation of Christ's kingdom, the millennium) or to the world (Christ's return, the resurrection, final judgment, the eternalstate)
From index@THEOLOGYGLOSSARY.txt@ THEOCRACY –– literally "the rule of God," however this is thought to be expressed (e.g., by His revealed principles, by His chosen leaders, by Himself in the person of the Son, etc.); the word is variously used by writers for different intended conceptions, some using it as a code word for uniqueness of Old Testament Israel, others using it for any social system where the church rules thestate (or is not separated from it), and still others for a civil government which strives to submit to the socio-political standing laws revealed by God (in Old or New Testaments)
From index@BIBLEBOOKSUMMARY.txt@ kjv@Luke:1 LUKE - There is almost universal agreement that Luke, the "beloved physician" ( Colossians:4:14 ) who accompanied Paul on his missionary travels, was the author of the third Gospel. Luke wrote to present Jesus as the Universal Savior, the compassionate healer and teacher. His careful historical approach is revealed in the preface, which states that the author has traced "all things from the very first". Unlike Mark, this author includes an account of the Virgin Birth, and unlike Matthew he extensively describes the Perean Ministry (Chapters Luke:9-18 ).
From index@BIBLEBOOKSUMMARY.txt@ kjv@John:1 JOHN - The Gospel of John endeavors to explain the mystery of the Person of Christ by the use of the term "logos" (word) and was written to confirm Christians in the belief that Jesus was the Christ, the Son of God. Its purpose is evangelical and is so stated in John:20:31. John not only records events as do the other Gospels but also uniquely interprets the events by giving them spiritual meaning. The author makes significant use of such words as light, water, life, love, and bread. Traditionally the author of this Gospel is considered to have been John, the Beloved Disciple.

From index@GOOGLESURVEYQUOTES.txt@ index:GOOGLESURVEYQUOTES GoogleSurveyEnvy As described in a story at Wired Magazine, an enterprising team from the Geography Department at KansasState University has created a series of United States maps that purport to show incidence of the seven deadly sins mentioned in the Bible: greed, envy, wrath, sloth, gluttony, lust, and pride.
From index@GOOGLESURVEYQUOTES.txt@ index:GOOGLESURVEYQUOTES GoogleSurveyPride As it did in the angels that sinned, who, through pride, fell into condemnation, not being able to bear the thought that the human nature, in the person of the Son of God, should be advanced above theirs; and as it did in our first parents, who, not content with their presentstate and circumstances, and ambitious of being as gods, knowing good and evil, ruined themselves and all their posterity; and as it has done in many of their sons, as in Haman, Nebuchadnezzar, and others;
From index@GOOGLESURVEYQUOTES.txt@ index:GOOGLESURVEYQUOTES GoogleSurveySexuality More and more, the arguments related to sexuality & Christianity seem to stem from the statement, "But telling people their sexual practices are sinful makes people feel sad & marginalized, and God never wants people to feel sad and marginalized, so they must not be sinful..." Unfortunately for them, the Bible deliberately states that living for Christ is hard & sin does separate you from God and should, ideally, make you feel sad!
From index@GOOGLEQUOTESISSUES.txt@ BibleDivorce Jesus' reply in the house is exactly what the reader expects within the logical consistency of His reply to the earlier question regarding divorce rights that He had stated to the Pharisees; divorcing and remarrying is adultery against the present spouse unless the divorce had been for "just-cause."
From index@GOOGLEQUOTESISSUES.txt@ BibleDivorce By Paul using this word by noting the divorced spouse, was "NOT" under "dooloo," bondage he provides a statement that this was a divorce by a spouse leaving for no just-cause and he was speaking clearly that the remaining, now non-married spouse is NOT under "dooloo" --- to such unjust servile obligation (bondage).

From index@GOOGLEQUOTESISSUES.txt@ BibleHarm However, it is widely agreed among professional healthcare workers, that self-harm is an indicator that something is wrong in a person's life or mentalstate.
From index@GOOGLEQUOTESISSUES.txt@ BibleHarm As a Christian, I am appalled that there are people using the Word of God to advocate death and/or harm to anyone, no less to the President of the United States.
