akjvMatthew:1 @ ENGLISH: TITLE: American King James Version DESCRIPTION: This is a new translation of the Bible, based on the original King James Version. It is a simple word for word update from the King James English. I have taken care tochange nothing doctrinally, but to simply update the spelling and vocabulary. I have not changed the grammar because that could alter the doctrine. RIGTHS: I am hereby putting the American King James version of the Bible into the public domain on November 8, 1999. bweMatthew:1 @ ENGLISH: TITLE: Bible in Worldwide English NT DESCRIPTION: The Bible in Worldwide English (BWE)\par This New Testament was originally prepared by Annie Cressman, who died in 1993. She was a Canadian Bible teacher in Liberia in West Africa. Whilst teaching students in a Bible School where the language used was English, she found that she was spending more time explaining the meaning of the English than she was teaching the Bible itself. So she decided to write this simple version in easy English so that her students could easily understand.\par\par In 1959 the Full Gospel Publishing House in Toronto, Canada, printed a trial edition of the Gospel of Mark. A further edition was published in 1962 by the American Bible Society. The whole New Testament was first published by SOON Publications in India in 1969 in hardback form. This was assisted by Operation Mobilisation (OM) and was reprinted in 1971.\par\par The vision to reprint a new edition of the whole New Testament has now been carried out by SOON in conjunction with EPH and OM. Where achange to more modern words has been made, this has been kept in line with the the Authorised Version. RIGTHS: unknown PUBLISHER: freedom for bible ORG

kjv@Proverbs:25:11 Apple (Malus domestica.) [Heb., tap·pu?ach]. Arabic is tuffah. Tochange a p to Letter f in Hebrew there's a dot changed The word itself indicates that which is distinguished by its fragrance, or scent. It comes from the root na·phach?, meaning "blow; pant; struggle for breath." (Genesis:2:7; Job:31:39; Jeremiah:15:9) Regarding this, M. C. Fisher wrote: "Relationship [to na·phach?] seems at first semantically strained, but the ideas of ‘breathe’ and ‘exhale an odor’ are related. The by-form puah means both ‘blow’ (of wind) and ‘exhale a pleasant odor, be fragrant.’"- - BiblePlants

RELATIVISM, CULTURAL –– the view that what is morally right or wrong is not absolute, but internally adapted to a specific culture, being determined by that particular society's attitudes, folkways or tribal values; thus "justice," for instance, actually changes from culture to culture (not simply beliefs about justice) and cannot be defined transculturally

index:GOOGLESURVEYQUOTES GoogleSurveyAlcohol If any think to consume alcohol today, my counsel would therefore be not to do so, but if you do, do so privately and with heavy restrictions upon yourself, based on your own temperament and physiology -- not because the Bible has changed, but because social factors have changed that the Bible's writers could not have envisioned.

From index@GOOGLESURVEYQUOTES.txt@
index:GOOGLESURVEYQUOTES GoogleSurveyAlcohol The only purpose I can see for drinking alcohol is to use a drug to artificiallychange your mood and demeanor.

From index@GOOGLESURVEYQUOTES.txt@

From index@GOOGLESURVEYQUOTES.txt@
index:GOOGLESURVEYQUOTES GoogleSurveyAnger You're not going to believe how much the Bible talks about anger, and how to deal with it, but I'm going to show you scripture today that willchange your attitude from "Anger is a normal emotion that everyone feels," to "Anger is a temptation of the devil," and that TRUTH will set you free of the anger that you've been accepting as a NORMAL reaction.

BibleDivorce There is no other rational/logical/consistent way to understand this exchange regarding a right to divorce that both Matthew and Mark recounts (and the Apostle Paul will later acknowledge and expand upon within his writings).

From index@GOOGLEQUOTESISSUES.txt@
BibleDivorce The "leveling off" of the US divorce rate isn't a sign of some kind of an improvement, but rather achange in the importance that your government attaches to the collection marriage and divorce data, the simplest data in the world to collect, something that even Rwanda and Haiti have managed to accomplish.
