Today's reading has Moses declaring the penalty given to anyone, prophet or neighbor or family member that seeks you to follow unknown gods, and Jesus describing a time when His followers would be brought before kings and councils by the same idolatrous people as a testimony against them. How the tables turn! Interesting that this is implied as the means of publishing the gospel to all the nations.
