This film is information about the occult. It is an attempt to expose things that very few have ever taken the time to look at. Things that we are exposed to every single day without knowing it. It is to equip you. This film IS NOT however, intended to point out who is a witch and who is not. It is not intended to scare anyone into a paranoid frenzy. ..it is just so you know..
The word occult encompasses so many different thing's that it is hard to understand just what we are talking about. So let us define the word occult. The dictionary says;
- of or pertaining to magic, astrology, or any system claiming use or knowledge of secret or supernatural powers or agencies.
- beyond the range of ordinary knowledge or understanding; mysterious.
- secret; disclosed or communicated only to the initiated. The key word is "secret" or that of being esoteric.
- understood by or meant for only the select few who have special knowledge or interest.
- intended to be revealed only to the initiates of a group.
- belief in or experience of a reality surpassing normal human understanding or experience, a reality perceived as essential to the nature of life. To understand the occult you must first look at its birthplace.
For example the first ziggurat (pyramid) was constructed in Babylon (The tower of Babel) and we find these structures throughout the world there after.
To shine some light on the Babylon we find that in the book of Genisis, Babylon was post deluge (flood). It was constructed in a time when Noah's descendants were re-populating the earth.
The land of Shinar is south of modern day Baghdad, Iraq. The remains of the ancient city are still there. However, the Babylonian religion is deeply rooted in what happened before the flood rather than after.
Although there is debate between scholars (Angelic or Sethetic) there was a time as we read in kjv@Genesis:6 "when men began to multiply on the face of the earth" and the fallen angels or the sons of God "saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose."
"There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them."
The bible goes on to say that they "were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown." So the LORD said, "I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth.."
Coincidently these Nephilim and fallen angels are those who the Babylonians began to worship after the flood. They are the demigods of polytheism, the "mighty men who were of old, men of renown."
Although not a part of the Biblical cannon and there is little proof to be the inspired word of God, the Book of Enoch attempts to explain in detail what happened before the flood. It also deals with theories widely held by the occult.
kjv@Genesis:8 says, "Armaros the resolving of enchantments, Baraqijal taught astrology, Kokabel the constellations, Ezeqeel the knowledge of the clouds, Araqiel the signs of the earth, Shamsiel the signs of the sun, and Sariel the course of the moon."
It goes on to say that these were heavenly secrets the angels were forbidden to reveal to man. They essentially revealed witchcraft.
God says these things are an abomination in kjv@Deuteronomy:18
"one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, 11 or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead."
The Tower Of Babel
kjv@Genesis:11 tells us that the people said to one another, "Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth."
Some theorize the construction of the Tower of Babel was ordered by Nimrod somewhere around 2500-3000BC. Jewish historian Josephus claimed Nimrod, a descendant of Noah's son Ham, built it to steer worship from God to himself as an act of defiance towards God.
Sumerian mythology claim it was a temple dedicated to Marduk called the Etemenaki which means "temple of the foundation of heaven and earth". This idea that it was built for demigod Marduk is corroborated with an image of Marduk on Ishtar Gate, later built by King Nebuchadnezzer.
The gate is still standing today.
Interesting enough Marduk is depicted as a standing serpent.
Who is the standing serpent?
"On your belly you shall go, And you shall eat dust, All the days of your life."
This possibly implies the serpent was originally standing upright and cursed then to his belly. Connections can be drawn throughout the scripture that point to the fact the serpent was Satan. The word "Nachash" meaning serpent is used in both Genesis and kjv@Isaiah:27.
kjv@Isaiah:27:1 "In that day the LORD with His severe sword, great and strong, Will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, Leviathan that twisted serpent; And He will slay the reptile that is in the sea.
kjv@Revelations:12:9 "So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. "
Isn't a dragon a standing serpent? So who was it that the Babylonians worshipped?
Throughout polytheism, you find hierarchy of the gods. The god of waters, sun, life, death, moon, sky, etc.
An interesting side story is that Saddam Hussein was in the process of rebuilding the city of Babylon with massive amounts of his own money. It has been documented that when Dr. Charles Pak, a researcher, visited the Babylon during this rebuilding, he witnessed open worship of Satan in the Temple of the Sun.
