This My Tabernacle
The justification for anything worth doing comes not only from the beginning intent and the means about it and final outcome of the doing, that any man can justify himself from, it comes from what God is able to do with that man from having him set on a course to do it. The process of the doing surely helps the man become one with his God, the result of him doing it is that God is able to reach through him to yet another. Let us not be short sighted as to the big picture of what God is diligently doing by doing in and upon and through us. The answers each of us are currently seeking are tied neatly into all of that. And we are now getting much closer to some very substantial answers.
Everything that we have studied so far is merely academic and theoretical if we leave out the actualization of living it forward into our daily lives. Your life might be a mess right now. This then could be your continuing self prescribed sentence or it could be your immediate opportunity. You may have tried every way humanly possible to put your life back upright. You have now sensed the direction, began to place yourself under God's miraculous influence upon us through Christ. The question left remaining for many is whether any of this is real? whether like the others say this is all fable? I know of only one way to give you the further and more complete sense of this. I take you back to Peter.
If you were to ask the servant and Apostle of Christ Peter whether any of it were true or not he would tell you that it most certainly is; he once saw first hand Christ in His glory as described here and literally fell to his face as if dead. He once again saw firsthand Christ and His glory upon His resurrection and ascension to the throne of glory. Peter knows that all these things are true and bares relentless personal witness to Jesus the Christ Son of the Living God. We though have not seen such firsthand and would be left to take him at his word if it were not for the wildfire of testimony surrounding and following the great Apostles of people not seeing firsthand but still experiencing the tremendous transformation in their personal walk in the "like precious faith"; testimony that continues building today. Not only do their words testify of Christ's tremendous influence, so too does what they were able to do with Christ's gospel into the far reaches of this present corruption; often at the cost of their own lives. The only way I know to get the fuller sense of the truthfulness of their testimony is to go ourselves down the same road that they once traveled, the type of faith that that stepped out from themselves into. Have Jesus' influence begin renewed today.

kjv@2Peter:1:19 @ We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:

Helpful hint: Click on the underlined words and phrases to get to the Seeker search page for that word or phrase. There you will find a wealth of resources such as dictionaries and system look ups.
- Think in terms of Peter's long walk with Jesus -
- Did Peter know day one who this Jesus was and just how much transformation his heart and soul was going to undergo by having the relationship to Jesus that he had?
- Did Peter ask Jesus to prove Himself answering all remaining questions before leaving his boat to follow Him?
- Did Peter need to know at any given moment along the way where he would go and what he'd be doing and what further resources would be required in order for him to be fruitful?
- Are we on a similar course as Peter?
- Does not prophecy take on a much brighter ever broadening light when cupped in the hands of it's promised Savior who has fulfilled all but it's final pieces allowing time for you to be utterly transformed by the experience living and growing by Him in the trying here and now?
Think of salvation as a direction. Think of it as the opposite direction of damnation. Think of life as a mapping of which direction we have chosen. Think of your current situation as a location on that map as to where you currently are in relation to your final salvation. Two men stand at the doors of death; you would think that they stand at the same place together. Actually one man stands at the gate of the grand eternal life which can be proved by the direction that his life in Christ Jesus has taken and the spiritual fruit that his Savior has increasingly lined the trail following him with. The other man stands at the gate of eternal sorrow as can be proven by the direction his life charted on it's own minus his Savior instead following the meanderings of all the rest.
Where are you at on this map? Most reading this today have correctly placed their hopes upon Jesus our Savior. Now is the time to correct the course and follow His further direction. That direction I propose is that of the "like precious faith" which you now know the foundations of.
Peter himself and many many others would end up giving their lives for the continuance of these much opposed foundations. For them this faith indeed has been most "precious". Some of these saints even were put to the stake by people said to have believed in and serving the same exact savior. Large scale works these ones have done in the name of this Savior but not the same works that Jesus would have done in and/on/through them had they sought to serve Him. It is as if Jesus did not know them.
May Jesus know you by the fruit of His that you have abided in... the fruit of His "LIKE PRECIOUS FAITH"!
How to continue this course.
Given the sheer amount of information presented, I highly recommend that you go back through this. Knowing the top down general flow, now it's advisable to search out the answers in greater detail. To do that requires the expanding out into the greater context of all scripture. Knowledge of this type however is not left to head knowledge it is left to a living and thriving relationship with our Savior Himself of which head knowledge is only a part.
In all your searching, search for more of your Savior. In all of your doing, do alongside with your Savior. In all of your prayers, pray for His correction. In all of His correction be focused on His wonder filled purpose. And when you think that you have got it all made, come back to this to make sure that you haven't left Him off somewhere.
