Looking at Psalms from a thematic perspective we can see that Psalms a truly an incredible book, a complete introductory tour of the faith in itself. No wonder it is nearly everyones favorite most quoted works, even non-christians.

The book is essentially a collection of songs PBDICT@strongs@psalm. It's authors not only spoke in heart felt praise and worship, but, often quiet candidly about their own trials and awkward human-ness. They frequently lend to the reader a connective empathetic depth to the historical situations they refer to.

One of the most widely known and recited passages of the bible is kjv@Psalms:23 "The Lord is my shepherd"
